Iris Table Lamp

While the air bubbles in the glass dome of the Iris Table Lamp are reminiscent of underwater worlds, the alabaster dome mirrors the distinctive texture of the surface of the moon. Both luminaires inspire in their own, unique ways the feeling of weightlessness. Alabaster is a cream-coloured mineral, reminiscent of the materiality of marble. The stone is translucent and is illuminated from the inside by the built-in light source, giving the impression of looking into a full moon. As alabaster is a natural stone, each piece is unique and differs in its grain and structure, just like the surface of the moon, which looks different from every angle.
The on/off switch is protruding and has a knurled rotary knob. The diamond knurling gives this a tactile touch and breaks up the clean design of the aluminium base. The functions of the lights allow you to dim the three light colours as required.
