Christian Dior Book

This stunning book, which captures the highlights of the V&A's great exhibition, presents the House of Dior from its founding in 1947 to the present day. It features the haute couture gowns of Christian Dior and the celebrated creative directors who followed him - Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Maria Grazia Chiuri. The dresses were photographed by Laziz Hamani with atmospheric photographs. Archival material, including Christian Dior's design sketches, as well as photographs from the press and fashion photography, provide a colourful context, complemented by introductory texts to each chapter by Oriole Cullen, Fashion Curator at the V&A.
